Web Content Manager
Summary:
Expanding Austin furniture store looking for a dedicated,
self-motivated individual with experience and skills in web content
management utilizing Volusion online software
platform, writing and editing content, SEO, Google Ad Words, graphic design and site
management.
The website content manager will be responsible developing the voice
for all aspects of the organization's online presence. In addition to
maintaining social media, blog, SEO, Google Ad Words and multiple online advertising
campaigns.
The website content manager will also be responsible for
crafting site promotions, email newsletters, and maintaining high site
standards while simultaneously reaching monthly goals to surpass our
competitors in online sales.
The content manager will work independently as well as with
company president, technical, business development, and sales members of our
organization, so strong communication skills are needed.
This is an off site, full time position requiring weekly in store meetings at our
W Anderson & Burnett Rd, store location.
Responsibilities:
Create Copy, design, upload and edit ongoing new and existing web content.
Must have the knowledge to maintain and upload weekly Google product data feed
Periodically update seasonal promotional banners and coordinate web projects.
Oversee and delegate contract work with freelancers including
out sourced technical teams.
Assure web-based information is archived for future needs and reference,
weekly reporting and analytic review.
Work cooperatively with key team members, clients and vendors
Required Skills:
Tasks require a strong attention to detail and ability to work independently under
tight deadlines.
Requires very strong understanding of Google Ad Words marketing strategies for online
retail sales (furniture industry experience a plus)
Exceptional communication and organizational skills including the
ability to accept constructive criticism.
Basic knowledge of HTML
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven,
environment
Basic Adobe Photoshop skills with creative graphic design talent.
The ideal candidate MUST be highly proficient in excel in order to
mass upload new content via custom formulated spreadsheets.
2-3 years experience managing content and production for high traffic, retail
websites. Self taught OK.
